What I'm working on
Mapping the emerging shape of the Indian AI market in 2026. What gets built, what breaks, what the ministerial drafts look like when the configuration layer starts doing its job.
The first long-form piece is up: Nine layers between electrons and tokens, a map of the AI compute stack pulled apart one layer at a time, with failure modes drawn in. There is also an interactive version if you prefer to tap the stack apart yourself.
Projects
Sanjaya: the pump price of Indian petrol and diesel pulled apart into its four components, refinery transfer, central excise, state VAT, dealer commission. Daily, with nine years of history overlaid against Brent crude, sourced from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell. Named for the narrator of the Mahabharata, who watched the Kurukshetra war remotely and described it to a blind king.
